Semantic versioning
egov.js follows Semantic Versioning. Before
1.0.0, minor releases may
change experimental public APIs and patch releases remain backward-compatible

Record a change
Every user-facing pull request includes a Changeset describing impact from
the SDK consumer's perspective.

Validate the artifact
The release gate checks more than source tests. It builds ESM and CommonJS,
validates package metadata with publint, checks declaration resolution with Are
the Types Wrong, inspects the npm tarball, and builds these Holocron docs.
Public npm publishing remains intentionally disabled operationally while the GitHub repository
is private. Git tags and GitHub Releases still identify every versioned artifact.
